1st Yr Girls Basketball – Regional Champions
The 1st year girls basketball team travelled to Athea in Limerick today to compete in the regional semi-final and final, and were able to take home the gold medals after two hard fought wins. In the semi-final, they beat a good side in Limerick Educate Together before facing Ennistymon CS in the final. The girls were exceptional during this game and were delighted to come away with the Southwest regional trophy. The team has now also qualified to compete in the All-Ireland phase of the competition. Well done girls and best of luck in the next round!!
