1st Year Boys Football
St. Flannan’s 1st year boys recently won a Munster football tournament! They topped their group by defeating Coláiste na Trócaire Rathkeale (3-5 to 2-6) St. Ailbes Tipperary, Charleville CBS (5-5 to 1-3) and John the Baptist School Limerick (2-5 to 2-4). In the final, held at TUS Moylish, they faced Castleisland Community College (4-4 to 3-1) in a close match. Team captain Robert Pelczar led the team to victory and was presented with the cup. This win is a fantastic achievement for the team who now are preparing for a quarter final next week in the Connacht championship vs Athenry.
