International Women’s Day 2025
International Women’s day falls on Saturday March 8th and to celebrate this, we are hosting an IWD event within the school.
All our students will attend a talk from a number of speakers who will discuss their views, successes and challenges experienced in their everyday lives as females:
– Brid Coughlan: Founder and owner of Coffee Rush, Lissycasey and Ennis.
– Ivanna McMahon: Miss Ireland 2022 and Dyslexia Ireland Advocate.
– Laura Linnane: Recently qualified GPA Scholar with a Masters in Sports Psychology.
– Jean McCabe: CEO Excellence Ireland and owner of Willow, Ennis.
– Aisling O’ Connor: Primary Teacher and Clare Rose 2023.
Our female students will participate in an hour long webinar hosted by Her Moves and Sports Ireland where they will explore different topics that teenage girls experience in their relationship with sport.
We look forward to hearing from a range of voices throughout the day. A huge thank you to all who have helped in marking International Women’s Day 2025.
