Wellbeing Workshop

On Tuesday, Class 2G had the privilege of visiting The Michael Cusack Heritage Centre at the kind invitation of Tim Madden. During their visit, students participated in a Well-Being Workshop facilitated by Peter Casey, which consisted of two insightful sessions:

Session 1 – “Who Am I?”
This session encouraged self-reflection and exploration of personal identity.Session 2 – “Bend, Don’t Break”
Designed to foster resilience, this session equipped students with valuable coping strategies.

In addition to the workshop, students thoroughly enjoyed learning about the rich history of Carran and exploring the cottage where Michael Cusack, founder of the GAA, grew up. The experience was further enriched by fascinating folklore stories, including tales of the Púca, adding an extra layer of magic to an already engaging and well-delivered workshop.

A sincere thank you to Tim Madden, Peter Casey, and The Michael Cusack Heritage Centre for providing such a meaningful and memorable day for our students!
